Installation

The adapter plate bolts to the stock timing cover. Use a thin film of silicone, don’t use a gasket. The pump may be rotated to 3 positions to accommodate other bolt on components. Use a thin film of silicone on each side of the insulator plate.

Race Pump is pre-lubed and ready to install.

(Dry) used pumps must be pre-lubed with a few drops of light oil in the inlet and outlet ports.

A fuel pressure regulator must be used. The Race Pumps regulators are the only regulators designed to work with the Race Pump.

Tuning Tips

Using the proper regulator is extremely important. The Race Pumps regulators are the only regulators designed to work with the Race Pump.
